Blood Draw is a doctor owned and founded service.
Our Company
We were founded in response to the changing medical landscape and the decision by many medical practices to cease collecting blood in their offices. We believe that many patients, faced with the inconvenience and additional time commitment required to indpendently book an appointment at a lab, the travel time required and the wait time at the lab, many patients were not tomely or not at all completing the blood work requested by theri doctors and as a result the patients were not receieving comprehensive medical care. We believe that by adding conveninence to the equation and by facilitating a blood draw in-home or in-office, patients will submit to testing and enable doctors to provide better patient care.
Our Phlebotomists
We only use state licensed phlebotomists, phlebotomists are people trained to draw blood from a patient for clinical or medical testing, transfusions, donations, or research. Phlebotomists collect blood primarily by performing venipunctures (or, for collection of minute quantities of blood, fingersticks).
Self pay
Our service, the in-home or in-office blood draw is a self pay service, not covered by insurance. The Lab work on your blood is not a part of the services we provide or charge for. Any blood work performed by your designated lab is outside of the scope of our charges to you and may be covered by your insurance.
